Nominations are now being accepted for the 2018 Community Awards
The Pride of Stockland Green Community Awards is Stockland Green Ward Advisory Board’s way of celebrating and acknowledging those people who deserve recognition for the contribution and part they play in making Stockland Green a better place to live.
Each and every day, members of our diverse community undertake acts of kindness or devote time and energy into projects, all for the benefit others. These acts of kindness make our part of the world a better place to be and are the difference between living in Stockland Green and loving Stockland Green.Please tell us about the local people who you feel make a positive difference to either your life or that of others in Stockland Green and those who go the extra mile often without even realising how important their kindness is. Nominations can be made in respect of individuals, groups or projects and all nominations will be considered by a panel of independent judges so it is really important that your nomination tells us:
- Exactly what your nominee does in Stockland Green and for who
- The difference their selflessness and kindness makes
- Examples of what the nominee does
- Contact details for both yourself and the person, group or project you are nominating
Nominations must be received by 30th September 2018 and the winners will be announced at the
Pride of Stockland Green Community Awards ceremony which will take place at:
The Midland Greek Centre in Stockland Green on Friday, 9th November 2018.
